Trusting Christ as Savior is not a complicated thing to do.  It is so simple that even a child can understand!  Here are the ABC's of Salvation... 

 A - ADMIT

ADMIT you are a sinner in need of a Savior.     The Bible clearly declares, "All have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God."  (Romans 3:23)

B - BELIEVE

You must BELIEVE in the Lord Jesus Christ in order to be saved (Acts 16:31).  Knowing about Jesus is not enough; you must place your faith in Christ's work on the cross.  He died to take the punishment you and I deserved.  By trusting Christ, you receive the forgiveness of your sins and the assurance of eternal life.  It's that simple!

C - CONFESS

We read in Romans 10:9, "If you CONFESS with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved!"  If you have trusted Christ as your Lord and Savior, be sure to tell others.  Find a church that teaches God's Word and begin to fellowship with like-minded believers. 

How to GROW in Christ:

GO TO CHURCH

The best way to grow in your faith is to associate with like-minded believers.  Find a church that faithfully teaches God's Word, and make it a priority to attend regularly.

READ YOUR BIBLE

We need to study God's Word in order to grow in faith.  "Like newborn babies, long for the pure milk of the Word, so that by it you may grow in respect to salvation."  (I Peter 2:2)

OBEY GOD'S WORD

It is not enough to simply read God's Word; we must also obey it!  We read in James 1:22, "But prove yourselves doers of the Word, and not merely hearers who delude themselves."

WORK FOR THE LORD

God has called all Christians to serve Him.  Make it your proirity to find a ministry that uses your talents and giftings to advance His Kingdom.
